Heller, Bernhart
(1871-1943)
   Hungarian Arabist and literary scholar. He was born in Nagybicse. He taught languages at high schools in Budapest and became director of the Jewish High School; in 1922 he was appointed professor of Bible at the Rabbinical Seminary. He published studies of ancient Jewish literature, Jewish folk literature, and Muslim legends.
